Privacy Policy

Rahiq is designed to work fully offline. We collect minimal data necessary to provide the app's features.

Location data: We request your device location solely to calculate accurate prayer times for your city. This data is processed on-device and is never transmitted to our servers.

Usage preferences: Settings such as calculation method, madhab, notification times, and theme preferences are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.

Bookmark & progress data: Your Quran bookmarks, habit streaks, and adhkar progress are stored locally on your device and are never synced to external servers.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials.

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or crash-reporting services that transmit personal data.

We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties.

We do not store any data on remote servers.

Quran audio: Audio recitations are streamed from the Islamic Network CDN (cdn.islamic.network). No personal data is shared in these requests.

Quran text: Surah and ayah data is fetched from the Al-Quran Cloud API (api.alquran.cloud). No personal data is included in these requests.

Prayer times: Calculations are performed entirely on-device using the adhan-js library. No external API is called for prayer times.

Hadith data: Daily hadiths may be fetched from HadeethEnc (hadeethenc.com), restricted to authenticated Sahih collections. No personal data is sent.

If you enable prayer notifications, Rahiq schedules local device notifications. These are processed entirely on your device.

We do not use push notification servers. All reminders are triggered locally by your device's operating system.

Rahiq does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. The app contains no in-app purchases, advertising, or social features.

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you are always in full control of it.

To delete all app data: uninstall Rahiq from your device, or go to your device Settings → Apps → Rahiq → Clear Data.

This will permanently remove all locally stored preferences, bookmarks, habit logs, and adhkar progress.

Because we do not collect or store any data on remote servers, there is nothing to request deletion of from our side.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in an updated version of the app. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
